• Wheels secured and safety checked

• Tyres safety checked and inflated to the correct pressure

• Check headset / bottom bracket / hubs for play

• Check all bolts are secured

• Gears are indexed and limits set with existing cables and housing

• Cables inspected and oiled if necessary

• Check drivetrain for wear and ensure fit for purpose (inc. front mech and rear derailleur)

• Chain cleaned and oiled

• Brakes optimized and safety checked

• All cables fitted with end caps

• Bike test ridden
